US Truncated Filling Tube

The Truncated tube was issued with all US gas guzzling vehicles to aid the pouring of liquids from the Ameri-Can which could not sensibly be used without it. Early war ones used by the British In the Middle East in 1941 had a thread on the end which had to be screwed in, these were quickly replaced with the Compressed Donut and cam design.

This model has the cam down so it can look as if it is fitted to a Ameri-Can.
