Whitley Sleeping bag open

This is a Whitley Sleeping bag that the owner has just stepped out of. It is thought the Whitley bag was originally designed for Paras to use while in the body of an unheated Whitley aeroplane. These bags are huge and unwieldly and were not in general use but a photo does show the bags at Arnhem.
A nice painting challenge for those that like brushstroke camouflage.
